Iran film stars attend votive food distribution

Iranian celebrities have attended the ceremony of votive food distribution on the occasion of Muharram.

Every year, mourning rituals and ceremonies are being held during the first 10 days of the month of Muharram to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) - the third Shia Imam.  

Film stars of Iran cinema in line with people pledge a votive in Muharram and in Ashura day and distribute Nazri food in an effort to have their wishes come true.
